"Dari awal pesawatnya terlihat sudah punya kendala. Ada beberapa hal yang janggal dari prosedur keberangkatan," kata Gerry Soejatman, pengamat penerbangan dari Jaringan Penerbangan Indonesia (Japri), kepada kumparan, Senin (29/10).
Dalam situs Flight Radar 24, Lion Air Boeing 737 Max 8 itu berangkat dari Bandara Soekarno Hatta pada pukul 06.21 menuju Pangkal Pinang. Pesawat hilang kontak sekitar 13 menit kemudian. Seharusnya pesawat akan tiba di bandara tujuan sekitar pukul 07.20.
Dari pelacakan rute Flight Radar 24, pesawat tersebut mengambil rute ke selatan untuk selanjutnya berputar ke timur melalui udara Jakarta Barat sebelum akhirnya menuju utara ke Teluk Jakarta. Pesawat terus bergerak ke timurlaut menuju ke Tanjung Karawang sebelum akhirnya hilang dari radar.
Gerry mengatakan, rute pesawat Lion Air menuju Pangkal Pinang memang memutar ke selatan, lalu belok kiri menuju Pangkal Pinang. Pesawat memang mengikuti rute seharusnya, namun ada sedikit kejanggalan.
"Rutenya belok kiri, lawan arah dulu. (Tapi) ini langsung belok sejajar dengan landasan, jadi kelihatan ada masalah," kata Gerry.
"Pesawat terlihat tidak berjalan dengan normal, sepertinya masih diterbangkan dengan manual. Ketinggiannya juga naik turun, tidak konsisten," lanjut dia.
Pesawat tersebut tergolong baru. Dengan nomor registrasi PK-LQP, pesawat itu diterima Lion Air pada Agustus tahun ini. Menurut Gerry, barunya pesawat bukan jaminan tidak adanya kerusakan teknis.
"Kita harus membuang persepsi bahwa pesawat baru itu bagus atau jelek. Pesawat baru tetap berisiko, pesawat tua juga berisiko. Kembali lagi ke pelatihan dan pemeliharaan, baru dari dua faktor itu kita tahu bisa aman," kata Gerry.
Tim SAR berhasil menemukan serpihan yang diduga Lion Air JT610. Ditanya apakah mungkin ada human error dalam insiden kali ini, Gerry menjawab:
"Terlalu cepat untuk membicarakan itu, karena ini kelihatannya masalah teknis."
