Akad nikah keduanya berlangsung di Dusun Babana Kawali, Desa Pattimang, Kecamatan Malangke, Kabupaten Luwu Utara, tepatnya di kediaman orang tua Evi.
Usai akad, pasangan pengantin baru inipun melakukan resepsi. Acara resepsi pun tampak sangat ramai dengan tamu undangan dari Malangke dan sekitarnya, hingga dari luar kabupaten dan provinsi.
Satu per satu tamu pun bersalaman dengan Evi Masamba dan Aryef di pelaminan. Beberapa diantaranya ada pula yang menyempatkan foto bareng.
Semuanya dilayani oleh Evi dan Aryef hingga membuat keduanya tampak sangat kelelahan. terlebih, tamu dilayani sejak pukul 10.00 Wita.
Dan pada pukul 12.30 Wita Evi pingsan di pelaminan. Usai ambruk ia pun kemudian dibopong ke kamar untuk istirahat.
Sejenak sesi salam-salaman dan foto bareng dengan kedua mempelai pun terhenti. Pingsannya Evi diduga karena ia kelelahan.
Sebelum akad nikah dan resepsi, Evi Masamba dan calon suaminya menggelar ritual mappacci atau penyucian diri dalam adat Bugis Luwu untuk calon pengantin.
Ritual mappacci ini sendiri digelar pada Selasa (23/10) malam, di Malangke. Acara itupun berlangsung ramai.
Banyak warga yang datang untuk menyaksikan prosesi sakral itu sekaligus menikmati panggung hiburan dangdut oleh orkes Himalaya Music Electone.
