"Resiko saya ada di industri seni di era sosmed, apa aja dikomentari. Celakanya adalah saat satu orang komentar lainnya ikutan tanpa mengerti persoalannya," ungkap Iis Dahlia.
Iis pun menyayangkan komentar Indra Bekti yang mengatakan bahwa seorang artis itu harus pintar memilih gimmick yang layak atau tidak layak untuk dilakukan. Iis merasa dirinya bukanlah artis bodoh yang tidak tahu apa-apa soal dunia hiburan. "Setuju, setuju banget (dengan komentar Indra Bekti). Saya bukan artis bodoh, saya 31 tahun di dunia seni ini. Sebelum Indra ada, saya mungkin sudah ada. Apa yang saya lakukan pasti saya pikir," tegasnya seolah tak mau menerima kritikan Indra Bekti.
Yang membuat Iis Dahlia semakin terkejut adalah ketika Irfan Hakim yang merupakan mantan rekan kerjanya selama bertahun-tahun di Indosiar, juga ikut menghakiminya dengan memberikan kritikan pedas.
"Gimmick itu seperti cerita di sinetron. tapi alur cerita harus tetap masuk akal, karena penonton sudah pintar.. si pelaku nya adalah pemain dari cerita itu.bedanya... kalo di sinetron, hak pemain untuk menolak gimmick isi cerita sangatlah kecil. tapi diluar sinetron, pemain/pelaku bisa dengan tegas menolak gimmick tersebut ketika dirasa membahayakan diri atau dianggap tak mendidik, tak berguna, ataupun tak masuk akal..sebagai artis atau pelaku seni, berani beradu argumen dan berdiskusi lah dengan team. karena kita bukan sekedar wayang. tapi kita punya visi misi sendiri dalam kehidupan," tulis Irfan Hakim di akun Instagramnya, seperti dilansir dari liputan6.com (24/7/2018).
Iis mengaku heran dengan perkataan Irfan Hakim yang disebut-sebut sebagai sindiran untuknya. "Kita pernah bekerja di tempat yang sama loh, tapi saya gak akan buka warung kita dulu. Aku gak tau AA (Irfan Hakim) komentari ini apa, karena area saya bekerja sekarang sama dia bekerja itu sama," ujar Iis Dahlia.
